1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReviewMatch ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ReviewMatch is a two-sided marketplace that connects verified US Business School PhD students with journal editors seeking peer reviewers. The Platform facilitates the review lifecycle including profile creation, verification, manuscript assignment, review submission, and performance rating.

3. User Accounts

You must register for an account to use certain features of the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Students must register with a valid .edu email address
  • Editors must register with a journal-domain email address
  • All users must provide accurate and complete information

4. Verification Requirements

Students must complete .edu email verification, ORCID OAuth linking, and ethics training to become "Review Ready." Editors must have their journal affiliation verified by an administrator.

5. Confidentiality

All manuscript content shared through the Platform is confidential. Reviewers must not share, distribute, or discuss manuscript content with any third party. Violation of confidentiality obligations may result in immediate account termination.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Users must declare all potential conflicts of interest in accordance with COPE guidelines. The Platform includes automated COI detection, but users bear ultimate responsibility for accurate disclosure.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform does not claim ownership of manuscripts or reviews submitted through the service. All intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.

8. Limitation of Liability

ReviewMatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or timeliness of reviews submitted through the Platform.
